You can schedule an initial, 15-minute interview for free. That time allows you to assess whether you feel confident in Scarab Academics and allows Scarab Academics to provide you with a custom quote for everything you need—and nothing extra. Students who ask for help in their first term require less intensive intervention than students who ask for help closer to graduation, and the cost of your proposed plan will reflect that. You may also be offered a choice between a one-time plan that you will implement independently or ongoing consultations to check your progress and make adjustments in real time to keep you on track.
You likely have an assigned advisor or access to an academic advising center at your school. Those resources are usually free and you should access those free resources before contacting Scarab Academics. At some schools, advisors may be indifferent or even hostile to students who do not consider their studies their highest priority. Academic advising centers may be great at handling common challenges but lack the resources to provide highly individualized plans for unique situations. If you have exhausted the resources available through your school and do not have a workable plan, Scarab Academics might be able to help. Scarab Academics can help you look at a wide variety of options, including transfer credits, online programs, and other supplements to make up credits or work ahead, and can work with you to evaluate whether changing majors or degree programs might help you complete a closely related degree on terms—including time, cost, and academic requirements—that better fit your life, especially if your life doesn’t fit a stereotypical student profile.
